Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant was greeted by several booing Oklahoma City Thunder fans during pre-game introductions on Saturday.
This was Durant’s first game back in Oklahoma City after leaving the Thunder last summer to team up with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green in Golden State. In-addition to the boos, Thunder fans had signs, shirts, and other things to try and heckle Durant.
The boos carried throughout the game, as Durant was booed whenever he touched the ball on offense. The Warriors beat the Thunder in blowout fashion as far as the actual game goes, as Durant finished with 34 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists in the 130-114 win. Russell Westbrook finished with 47 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists for the Thunder.
